Bravo, Bravo, Encore!
The Joy Of Encore Azaleas

The spring display of most Azaleas earns plenty of cheers, but the encore performances of Encore Azaleas will bring you to your feet! Encore Azaleas were bred to repeat bloom over and over. They are more tolerant of sun and heat than most other Azaleas. Plant breeders have been hard at work developing new colors so the numbers of different Encore Azaleas has really grown! Come see our selection and you'll be cheering for your own color show. Their names all start with Autumn, signifying their fall blooming. Encore Azaleas currently in stock include:

Autumn Bravo
Autumn Coral
Autumn Embers
Autumn Empress
Autumn Ivory
Autumn Jewel
Autumn Monarch
Autumn Royalty
Autumn Twist

What's New in Veggies?
Two Tall Perennial Greens

Walking Stick Kale

Walking Stick Kale is native to the Channel Islands and got its name because its sturdy stems, when dried and varnished, make strong, handsome walking sticks. Grow it for its abundant crop of huge tasty leaves.

It is a short-lived (2 or 3 years) perennial and makes a stunning silhouette in the garden. It grows 6 to 10 feet tall. It is striking enough to be incorporated into a flower garden as an ornamental!

Tree Collards

Tree Collards are a perennial pleasure to grow! They make a handsome border, growing to about 6 feet tall. The taller you let them get, the larger their leaves. You can top them at 5 to 6 feet and they will develop side shoots.

While you can harvest leaves all year, they are much sweeter, and much more tender, during cool weather. Plant in sun, although a little filtered shade during the hot afternoon is fine. They live 3 to 5 years.
